Wedding’s

Guan Tatt & Szu Khee

January 10, 2009

Ya, ya, I have to admit, I was being lazy for the past few weeks. There’s only one update for the month of Dec 2008. Haha, by not finding excuses I better show my action with an update.

20th, 21st of Dec, 2008

Oh yeah, another old friend getting married. Now all the “old men” were getting married. LOL~ Guan Tatt is a friend of mine since primary school; and we were among the active members in the Scout troop during high school, spending countless time together running activities: campfire, training camp, JOTA…..

His “big days” ware like a mini reunion to us. All the high school friends joining the fun and sharing the joys with the couple. And off course, you won’t miss the “tradition” of CLHS – taking ppl pants off!! Sorry that the photos would have to be censored off from the album since it’s rated as “18-SX”. But who else would you guess the victim be?

Alan & YY

6th & 7th of Dec, 2008

Man…another busy weekend for me; and this time is for my buddy Alan and his wife.

It’s totally different feeling on covering the wedding of someone that you have already known for long and close to you. I have multiple identities throughout the process : as “Heng Tai” (brother) and photographer during the wedding; as invited guest and (still) photographer during the wedding banquet. ;)

It was a really tiring 2 days coverage, yet, I am feeling happy with Alan & YY and would like to congrats them once again: Happy Together Forever!!

P/S: it’s nice knowing some of Alan’s Heng Tai from Altera, u guys are funny!!

It’s even more exiting on the actual wedding day for Yew Kai & Choon Choo. When we reached Choon Choo’s place, her room already filled up with her “chee mui” squad…Some preparing for (tough) questions while some were trying to help Choon Choo with her outfit. When it’s time for group photos, everybody just got excited and jumped onto the bed ready to say “cheese”….

and suddenly the bed collapsed!! Hahah~

What a marathon weekend for me and Hayashi

We went to his hometown – Sungai Petani to cover his high school mate – Choon Choo and her hubby’s wedding. The wedding dinner was held at Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort, which was a very nice place for such a special occasion (except the lighting was really challenging ;)…). The couple was really eazy to shoot since they really enjoying themselves throughout the night; “yam seng” with almost every tables, meeting friends and relatives, taking photos….. what a night that full of joyfulness.

Overdue project…

June 7, 2008

Initially I intended to make this as my blog’s “opening showcase” (1st post in my blog) but obviously I’ve failed to do so….T.T

The photos were taken long before until I couldn’t remember when was it. It was a project by “the Ong’s brothers” (me and my brothers) in preparation of my 2nd elder brother’s wedding. Most of the photos are taken somewhere in Sg Petani and almost the whole Ong’s family were involved in that shooting. It was rather fun and you can find those fun moments in “the making” of the album.

The processing of this album was extremely painful…I meant… the real “painful”…. I almost got Carpal tunnel syndrome because of it…kanasai!!! This is simply because (1) I had to rush and send it for printing before I left for my oversea assignment in Arizona; (2) I had to minimize the White Balance difference of 3 cameras (Canon, Sony & Nikon), especially the super-duper saturate WB used by my eldest brother (I guess he wanted the photos to be super-duper colorful…;)).

The photobook printing turned out to be good and quite satisfied, and I will share the video/photos of it later on. Do come back and check out.

Haven’t met Kevin for years, since he left Penang for his new job in KL; and this time he came back with his “red bomb” (wedding dinner invitation).:) I couldn’t be happier for him to finally start another new chapter of his life. I would like to wish him and Cecily happy forever and have a baby soon (as what Kevin committed during the dinner) :)
