Yet another interesting and fun shooting for the year. Although I missed the fun of shooting SuperGT event with the gang this year
, but at least this is something in return as “consolation prize”. Me and gang were there kinda late coming from Scott Kelby’s photo”talk” (as we “talk” more than “walk”). After having our “char koey teow” at the Clan Jetties, we walked all the way from there to the Esplanate to continue our shooting for this event.
As of every year, the event was full with joy, beutiful people, dances and performance. But I felt that there’re less performances by the Japanese traditional dance groups as compared to last year and wonder if this was the effect of the economic downturn? I would really love to see more of the traditional performances or at least our local performers would pick up more of the dances as part of the culture exchange program.

Another great loving story that I covered a while ago with TY. My best wishes to Jerry and QianFang!

Having some fun with TY doing some “cool” pre-wedding shots before the wedding reception
Harmony Hafla: Malaysia 2nd World Belly Dance Day Charity Event
For another year, I am lucky enough to be invited to take part on this great event with teetoo & g3k as the official photographers; and this year we got a few new friends joining us for the fun: Kelvin, Soo Jin & Ivan. It’s been fun shooting with them but not forgetting to thank Kelvin for lending me his CF. (Gosh! I really need to get my additional CF card!)
Just got to know from Shee Loo that this charity event has successfully collected $33.5K for the Children Protection Society and Sam Cheng Everloving Care. Kudos to Zero Fitness Studio crew and the performers from all over the world for putting up this meaningful event and helping the needed ones.

Well, this assignment was an interesting one. It’s my first time shooting the wedding of a couple from different races. The couple is from Singapore, where they already have thier “official” wedding in Singapore, both Malay and Chinese style, and this round they just wanna have a simple one at Ai Ling’s hometown with their relatives and close friends here in Penang.
Since it’s a simple one, we had more time after the tea ceremony session and decided to do a quick shooting session around the streets…..

I am so busy up to the point that don’t have enough time to work on my latest work. In order to keep my blog updated, I think I have to play some tricks by posting some “old stuff” that has never been published in my weblog before….hehehe….
The session with Tracy happened 2 years ago (OMG!)… haha~ told u… it’s ”old stuff”. It was a short TT session with Pinky at the beach near the Jerejak Jetty. Tracy was so playful and fun to shoot; needed zero posing instructions, and we could just do the shooting and let her do the rest herself. I can see a lot of potential with her and have been asking her for another session for the past 2 years. Hopefully I can pull something out real soon…..hopefully….
Sedona, a city (or town perhaps?) located at the northern area of Arizona; is famous with its stunning “Red Rocks” landscaping, where the formation of the red sandstone appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising and setting sun…
With all these attractive info I got from internet and my colleagues in US, it became my first targeted place to visit when I was there in AZ. It only takes about 2 hours drive to travel from the place I stayed to Sedona, hence it’s a great place to visit for a short trip plan. There are quite a number of great scenary spots you can visit in Sedona but due to time limitation, I only got to visit a few of them. In which, the Church of the Holy Cross is one my top rank places to visit, due to it’s stunning architechture built over the top of the hill.
Enjoy the photos! (Click for flash album)
“krek~krek~krek…”
(tuning back the time to last year this time – 2008)
As mentioned in my Arizona Diaries – Monument Valley post before, I had to travel to Arizona for my company’s product transfer assignment; and these photos we taken when I was on my way there and also around the place that I was staying. It marked the beginning of my journey to the desert land….
I’m slowly making some progress digging out those photos taken during my trip there, stay tune!
Next stop will be at Sedona.

A back-dated project which I wanted to complete for since almost 2 years ago.
This is the same project as “Karen – The Terminal” but instead we wanted to do the “Rock Star” theme originally; inspired by some of the MVs we’ve seen over the TV. I guess we didn’t execute it quite well as we couldn’t find the electric guitars and stuff like big speakers etc to fill up the rather empty abandon train terminal. However, instead of our lack of preparation, Karen did an excellent job on the acting (modeling) part. She is so easy to shoot and she played the Rock Star role so naturally. I wish I have a second chance to work with her again in future (with better preparation).
