Friends

June 29, 2008

A TT session invited by g3k; get to meet up with this group of people with great friendship between them. Although I din get to chat with them a lot even after the shooting, but I could really feel their “connection” throughout the photo session…..

Ivy, the gal on the right in white skirt, long hair, will be leaving soon to be the flight attendant for SIA; and this was kind of like her farewell shooting. I do hope that these photos can bring them great memory of their friendship.

The original idea for this shooting was to shoot for some “lifestyle” related photos so that I can participate for my company’s 10th Anniversary photo contest… also invited TY and toshio to join the TT, while the rest of our photokaki gone for shooting Ms. Mois Pageant 2008….… ;)

Never thought that my photo would get selected in the competition, but surprisingly I won the 3rd prize with the photo below, hahah~~ I could never done it without the help of Angel and Chia Huey, they are really really sweet friends and I really need to thank them for being my models.

Hence, would like to dedicate this series of photos to them, hope they will like it!

it so happens that I am posting your wedding’s album on your birthday….Happy Bird-day bro!! ;)

Overdue project…

June 7, 2008

Initially I intended to make this as my blog’s “opening showcase” (1st post in my blog) but obviously I’ve failed to do so….T.T

The photos were taken long before until I couldn’t remember when was it. It was a project by “the Ong’s brothers” (me and my brothers) in preparation of my 2nd elder brother’s wedding. Most of the photos are taken somewhere in Sg Petani and almost the whole Ong’s family were involved in that shooting. It was rather fun and you can find those fun moments in “the making” of the album.

The processing of this album was extremely painful…I meant… the real “painful”…. I almost got Carpal tunnel syndrome because of it…kanasai!!! This is simply because (1) I had to rush and send it for printing before I left for my oversea assignment in Arizona; (2) I had to minimize the White Balance difference of 3 cameras (Canon, Sony & Nikon), especially the super-duper saturate WB used by my eldest brother (I guess he wanted the photos to be super-duper colorful…;)).

The photobook printing turned out to be good and quite satisfied, and I will share the video/photos of it later on. Do come back and check out.
